NGC 891 is a beautiful example of an edge-on spiral galaxy about 27 million light years away in the constellation of Andromeda. This image was composed using 5.8 hours of exposure time (18x600s in L, 3x1200s in B, 3x1200s in V, and 3x1000s in i') on the 0.8-meter telescope at Byrne Observatory at Sedgwick Reserve.
