This representative color mosaic of the Veil Nebula was created from a set of images taken by Brockenhurst College using Faulkes Telescope North in July 2010. The red channel shows a mosaic of Hydrogen alpha filter images and the blue shows images taken with an OIII filter (which is green). The mosaic was compiled using Montage (NASA/IPAC Infrared Science Archive) and GIMP was used to combine the channels.
