The Nature of Light

This guide describes the electromagnetic spectrum, including visible light. Light, and other forms of elecromagnetic radiation that we can't see, are what astronomers to learn about the nature of the universe. From x-ray telescopes, to optical telescopes to radio telescopes, astronomers study the radiation that reaches Earth from space.
