We are keen to share our expertise in telescope manufacture and have been involved in many telescopes which do not form part of our core network. These telescopes are often completely maintained by other institutions, observatories, or organizations. In some cases we offer one of our observatory sites to be a host to another astronomy project. Although they are not intended to be used by our scientists and education users, many of them have a strong outreach mission, and we still consider them to be part of the extended LCOGT family.
